America controls Mexico, Japan and the Pacific Islands from 100-200 year old wars, very big companies get bigger in Japan and America because of lax restrictions, and the big red communist countries are all compounded in one country named the Eurasian Confederation who just recently declared war on America. (Which is now the Greater American Republic.)

Japan, America, and the Meiji Restoration
July 8, 1853
Three days after the 13th shogun Tokugawa Iesada’s death (from illness), American Commodore Matthew Perry led his six ships into the harbor at Tokyo Bay (Then named Edo bay), seeking to re-establish for the first time in over 200 years regular trade and discourse between Japan and the western world. Perry entered Edo Bay with 1,467 men on six ships, (including two steam-powered vessels) mounting ninety-one guns. Perry demanded that Japan open its ports to American trade. His war ships were larger than any the Japanese had seen, and their dark hulls earned them the name of “black ships.” Perry demanded negotiations on his own terms, however this would only end in tragedy with furious Japanese resistance. Despite this resistance, the American fleet of modernized ships would decimate the Japanese Navy and Perry decided to land his ships in Tokyo (Edo) and quickly seized the bay area. The shogunate mobilized infantry within Tokyo to try and push the American ships back out of the ports, but this proved futile. Perry’s men managed to secure Tokyo with the support of the fleet, and over the next couple of years, the US sent a couple of more ships and troops to reinforce Perry’s fleet, which gave him the manpower to begin a push onto the island.
This invasion caused the annexation of a decent amount of the island and would cause the destruction of many priceless pieces of prices artifacts and cultural infrastructure. Nevertheless Japanese aggression eventually stopped under the superior forces of the United States and trade was finally set up between the occupied Japanese zone and the still Japanese controlled island.

On the eve of the battle of Chancellorsville in the midst of the American civil war is the day Japan decided after ten years of occupation, that they have had enough. The Japanese regions took advantage of the fact that most of the American fleets were moved to blockade the American south, including over half of the ships in Perry’s fleet, leaving his troops with far less naval support. Japanese forces attacked American occupied colonies in Japan with now more modernized equipment, they’d eventually push their way to Tokyo and block any retreat with a new, reconstructed Japanese Navy. The American soldiers made an Alamo style defense but ultimately it was defeated and all the soldiers were ceremonially executed. The Japanese suffered heavy casualties.
May 9th, 1865
The American civil war has come to an end with a signing of peace treaty at the Appomattox Court House with Jefferson Davis and General Robert E. They were wrong, as war in Europe lasted much longer than anticipated due to the nature of trench warfare. America would quickly mobilize their forces, making a formal declaration of war on Mexico, Germany, and the Austro Hungarian Empire. The whole country was outraged by this blatant betrayal by Mexico and many youths joined the army the day war was declared, bolstering the number of US troops by a staggering amount.
The United States of America would request the help of their trade partner Japan, but Japan denied any assistance. Partly because Japan did not want any involvement in WWI and wanted to focus completely on their modernization and mobilization of their forces, and partly because of negative attitudes against Americans in Japan.
This forced America to rev up their production, supporting Libertarian views on free trade and unrestricted work days. Many jobs started to require up to 20 hours shifts and over the next few months, many large industries began sprouting new factories and manufacturing plants. The sudden influx of so many factories and manufacturing plants caused a massive increase in pollution, which quickly began to spread all over the east coast.
May 25th, 1917
America at this point has completely occupied all of Mexico’s holdings. Gallant Arms Company and Amada Industries begin the first real rebuilding of infrastructure and industry in Japan. Much like the industries in the States there isn’t much restriction put upon them, which gives them all the space they need to work. Amada by now has beaten much of the competition in Japan, and has purchased many of the other industries it needs to support itself and work on its own. The GAC (Gallant Arms Company) has done much of the same, but in America. Having moved GAC factories over to over to Japan as a way to spark up more business in the east and beyond The GAC was already big in the States for its efficient firearms and steel production, and the war only made it grow faster. Amada and Gallant Arms Company are at this time wary of each other for competition, but willing to work together to advance in Japan.

By this date the four biggest companies in the world have grown large due to the near constant amount of conflict in the world, as well as little restrictions in any country to slow their expansion.
Aegis International has grown into a large corporation that creates its own armor for people and vehicles. Considered the highest quality available, Aegis Armor International is launched and sells to countries and companies across the world. It recently expanded into Japan, selling to JapFed, the US military, and other even major companies such as Amada and Gallant Arms, who need to keep their security well protected.
Amada Industries has begun development of computer systems and research in cybernetics, while maintaining their hold on other productions such as vehicles, weapons, and materials, among many other things Amada has expanded to. Almost everyone in the world knows Amada for its inexpensive goods. Almost like the dollar store of every kind of product, Amada sells all, but does not have the most efficient in any field of products.
Gallant Arms Co. is now the biggest in selling firearms as well as vehicles (for military use like tanks, armored cars, etc.) across the world. There are other companies that sell weapons of different qualities and for cheaper, such as Amada, but for the best bang for your buck, Gallant Arms has the greatest quality weapons in the world.
Omega Corp., now Omega Global, is the biggest company in the world for systems, implants, and new technology, though they mostly keep their projects and research secret, many of their products have made it out into the market for consumer use, and even some for military application. Anything based with technology involved has likely been created by Omega. They sell efficient computers, tracking systems, technology, even gadgets for the military, as well as development in cybernetics and prosthetics. They have bought out many other companies such as IBM and Apple.

March, 2014
Microfluidic storage devices become available, capable of storing 500 petabytes.
July, 2017
Omega Global has created working cybernetics as replacements for limbs lost or missing on incapacitated people. They continue their research in creating limbs that are useful for military application, with the aid of Japan and US funds. The replacement limb cybernetics are dubbed the “Dawning” Cyberlimbs. Dawning limbs are fully metallic and have a fifty percent chance of being rejected by the host, but this can be avoided by taking an immunosuppressant. They function about as well as an average human’s arms can, but are a bit clunky.
May, 2024
Omega Global produces the first Brain-Computer Interface (BCI). This becomes the core of neural implants, which Omega begins research and development on almost immediately after.
October 31st, 2025
Amada begins creating cheap Cybernetics and develops prototypes to be used by the GAR. Their cybernetics work similarly, if not identically to Omega's, but are created more cost-efficiently, and as a result do not maintain the same standard of quality. Amada cybernetics function with a slight impairment of efficiency and durability, compared to Omega Cybernetics.
June, 2029
Protests from groups and churches arise over augmentations in society. Not only in America, but across the world. By this point in time, most fashion-ware and cosmetic implants/augmentations are available, and are becoming widely popular, and the trend of unnaturally changing oneself to a cyborg is seen as somewhat disgusting to these kinds of people.

September 24th, 2040
A man with all Amada cybernetic limbs breaks out on a rampage in NYC is put down by NYPD after injuring up to 15 people. The reasoning for his rampage is attributed to 'cyber-psychosis', which is the effect of the mental strain from installing too much cyberwear. Amada unsuccessfully attempts to cover up the situation, but only causes more outrage from consumers. To further worsen the situation, similar reports of other incidents begin appearing across the Greater American Republic and Japan.
February 16th, 2075
Known as black Tuesday, giant labor riots begin in Japan over unfair working conditions, this is quickly put down by Amada Security Forces with minor assistance of the Japanese Federation.
